When to Write
You may wish to contact us if you notice:
- Incorrect title, author, or contributor metadata on a work page.
- A book placed in a category that seems inappropriate (for example, a war memoir appearing under Verse and the Stage).
- An ebook file that cannot be opened, displays garbled text, or fails to render on your device or browser.
- Accessibility problems, such as missing alt text for illustrations, poor contrast, or screen-reader incompatibility.
- Questions about privacy practices concerning your use of the site.
- Copyright or rights concerns: if you believe a work on the site is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights you wish to discuss.
- General editorial observations, suggestions for additions, or corrections to the reading notes and companion texts.
If you are unsure whether your observation fits one of these categories, we still encourage you to write. Even small details—such as a misattributed quotation in a reading note—can affect a reader’s experience. Our catalogue includes works from categories like Wars, Revolutions & Nations and Historical Psychological Social Fiction, and each category has its own editorial considerations; your specific feedback helps us maintain coherence across the collection.
What to Include
To help us address your message promptly, please provide as much of the following as is relevant:
- The exact URL (web address) of the page in question.
- The full title of the ebook as it appears on the site.
- The file format you attempted to use (EPUB, PDF, HTML, etc.).
- The device, browser, or reading software you were using.
- A clear description of the problem you encountered.
- If your message concerns copyright or rights, any supporting information you are able to share (such as details of the work’s publication history or your relationship to the rights).
For example, if you find that a work like The Complete Poetical Works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Vol 2 (of 2) is missing a poem from the original print edition, please include the poem’s title and any source you consulted. Similarly, if a book such as Within the Golden Gate appears in a category unrelated to its content, a brief note helps us reclassify it accurately.

We do not accept unsolicited submissions of new content. Additionally, we cannot research the provenance of every title in our collection on demand. Our reading notes and companion texts—such as those for The Lady of the Lake or Hafbur and Signe—are prepared as supplementary catalogue material based on available sources; we welcome corrections but cannot undertake extensive original research for individual requests.
